The Battle Royale game on the Garena platform, Free Fire, available for Android and IOS, is on a gigantic rise in the eSports scene. After Corinthians won the title of the World Cup, it caused it to draw the attention of several clubs to the sport.

Corinthians has had the Free Fire squad since 2019, where the newcomer managed to win the World Championship in the Free Fire World Series 2019 championship, which earned the team an official uniform within the game. Therefore, other teams also wanted to get a taste of what it's like to be champion in other sports.

Flamengo, a club that has an official line-up in League of Legends, is already considering entering the competitive Free Fire scenario. On May 31st, Flamengo's eSports project director, Fred Tannure, had announced on a live on the club's own Twitch channel, that the project to organize the entry of a squad in Battle Royale was close. The authorization came only after the director presented a project reporting the advantages of having a team in Battle Royale.

For the time being, information about official dates of the club's debut on Free Fire had not yet been informed.

Following in this way, Santos also entered the scene of Garena. Using the name Santos HotForex, the team qualified for Series A of the Brazilian Free Fire League (LBFF). The team had secured access to the elite clubs of the LBFF after being champion in the first Split of the Series C.

Outside the Free Fire universe, Santos formed a squad for the League of Legends this year and managed to stand out notoriously by being champion of the Challenging Circuit and now fight among the elite clubs in the Brazilian League of Legends Championship (CBLoL).

The Vitória club entered Free Fire after facing the Remo team in Contra Squad (CS) mode, which unfortunately the club lost by 3-0.

Meanwhile, Cruzeiro will also debut in competitive mode in the next split of Serie A of the Brazilian Free Fire League. The team guaranteed access to the elite clubs after standing out in the first split of the Serie C. On the other hand, the team is active in the fight for C.O.P.A. Free Fire.

The Remo team, which today returns with eSports through a new cast for Free Fire, has already ventured into the universes of League of Legends, CrossFire and CS: GO. The team will still dispute the next split of Series B of the Brazilian Free Fire League.

Sport Clube Recife intends to enter the scene later this year, however, it does not yet have an official squad for the championship. The organization will hold a tournament called the "Lion's Cup" to generate opportunities to recruit players for the future squad. It is worth mentioning that the vacancies to participate in the event will continue until July 1st.

Paysandu had already announced its entry into Free Fire in February. The team is planning to play the next split of the C Series of the Brazilian Free Fire League.
